Prep Time: 15 minutes
Fridge Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 12-14 minutes

Ingredients:
3 1/4 cup all purpose flour

2 tbsp cane sugar

2 tbsp baking powder

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

1 stick unsalted butter (put in your freezer 20 minutes before starting)

1 cup milk of your choice (whole is preferred)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
Take your frozen butter out of the freezer and shred into a bowl or plate. Mix flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder. Use your hands to incorporate the butter into the four mixture.

Pour in the milk and vanilla and mix the ingredients together using a spatula or dough whisk.

Turn your dough over to a generously floured surface and use your hands to incorporate it together. Take a rolling pin and roll the dough until it's
about 3/4" thick. Take a small/medium cookie cutter or a small cup and cut out the biscuits. You can reuse the leftover dough and repeat the process to cut more biscuits.

Place the biscuits in a baking sheet and put in the fridge for 15 mins.

Preheat oven to 500 while the biscuits are in the fridge.

After 15 mins, take your biscuits out and brush them with an egg wash (1 egg + splash of milk)

Turn your oven down to 475 and bake for 7 minutes. After 7 minutes, rotate your baking sheet and bake for another 6-7 minutes.

Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes and spread some delicious butter on top!

Enjoy and happy eating!
